He earned a reputation as a serious and exceptional industrialist as a result of his accomplishments. Today, the Bugatti brand is owned by Audi, which is part of the Volkswagen group.

It was recently acquired by Rimac, and all of these purchases and mergers have only added to the French sports car manufacturer’s fame.

On September 15, 1991, the Bugatti EB 110 was unveiled to the public. This large-scale event took held in a beautiful location in the French capital, between Versailles and the Grand Arch of Défense.

Engineer Nicola Materazzi and his team created a fundamentally new and unique V12 engine. The engine has a capacity of 3.5 liters and produces 553 horsepower. The car’s capabilities allowed it to reach a top speed of 209 mph.

The transmission was devised with Porsche’s assistance, and the super-powerful brakes were developed by Bosch, a well-known component manufacturer.

Michelin had to develop specific summer and winter tires for the EB110 that could sustain speeds of over 186 mph and deliver exceptional grip under prolonged severe loads.

The vehicle was subjected to 300 hours of dynamometer testing to determine the engine’s maximum performance at 95 percent rpm. Engineers also built a carbon fiber monocoque for the supercar on the order of Bugatti.

This is a one-of-a-kind substance that is significantly lighter than all naturally occurring aluminum alloys or steel, yet is equally strong.

It is, however, far more costly. EB 110 prototypes were employed in the testing process. The working aluminum of the machine block was compressed in a ratio of 7.5:1 by the designers.
